Research report & launch event materials

Client: Culture, King’s College London

The brief for this project was to illustrate an academic investigation of ‘everyday creativity’ in the UK and the conditions that enable it, authored by King’s academics with its starting point as the BBC’s Get Creative campaign – a year long celebration of Everyday Creativity in the UK involving 8 core cultural partners and thousands of ‘champions’ from across the country. The target audience consisted of policy makers, government and local authorities, and grass roots cultural and creative organisations. The result is a substantial addition to the Culture family of reports with a creative twist, utilising vibrant bands of colour overlaid with imagery for strong visual impact and accessible narrative, emphasising creative energy, optimism and the key message of the report which is the flourishing of ‘everyday creativity’. A pop-up banner and a wall display, using an eye-catching image from the report, were also commissioned for the launch event.
