Byron & politics exhibition catalogue
in collaboration with Helena Lekka
Client: Foyle Special Collections Library, King's College London & the National Library of Scotland
The brief for this publication was to design a catalogue to accompany an exhibition titled 'Byron & politics: 'born for opposition'' held in The Weston Room, Maughan Library, King's College London in 2013. The exhibition was jointly mounted by the John Murray Archive of the National Library of Scotland and the Foyle Special Collections Library of King’s College London to coincide with the 39th International Byron Society Conference hosted by King's. It included original literary and political manuscripts, private letters, printed editions and personal possessions of Lord Byron, many of them never exhibited in public before. With access to unique archival materials, the catalogue was designed as a sophisticated, high-quality publication to represent the prestigious nature of the event and stand the test of time.
